This necklace is antique circa early 1900s. It is fashioned from ivory beads that have been pierced in a design and then dyed laid in these designs with what looks like henna. The necklace measures 42 inches long and the beads graduate from about 12 mm down to about 4 mm. The beads are knotted in between and the cord looks original as it looks very old. This is a beautiful and unusual necklace.
