This beautiful necklace is vintage circa 1940’s. It’s fashioned from glass beads, metal filigree spacers and tiny blue beads. It looks like it was designed and made by Miriam Haskell but it isn’t signed at all. The shortest strand of beads measure 14 inches long the other is 15 inches. The hanging chain that serves as part of the clasp is 1 1/2 inches long so this would fit a 15 1/2 inch neck at the most. The smaller beads measure about 7 mm in size and the larger measure 3/4 x 3/4 inches. This piece is in very good condition with no problems, the only point I wish to mention is that the tiny brass spacer beads that are between the 7 mm size beads, have some oxidization on them. |
