These fun opera glasses are vintage circa 1920s or 1930s. They are fashioned from metal painted black and have yellow marblized celluloid ornamentation. They measure 3 7/8 x 2 inches and are stamped Japan. They show some wear on the black painted metal with paint chipping off here and there and the lenses could be cleaned. I don’t want to hurt anything so I have not attempted this. They manify really well but I can’t make them change the magnification. I’m not sure if applying some oil to the wheel would help this or not. I feel that they are in overall good condition as they work, they magnify and look cute.
