This unusual and very pretty ring is circa 1960s. It is fashioned from 14k gold and is set with an emerald cut amethyst and eight round single cut diamonds. The amethyst measures 20.00 X 14.70 mm and weighs 21.50 ct. The clarity is VVS1 and it has a good polish and symmetry. The diamonds weigh .20 ct total and average VS in clarity and H in color. The overall weight of this piece is 7.8 grams. The ring is a size 5 and can be resized if desired. The top of this ring rises 1/2 inch high on the finger.
