This beautiful brooch is antique circa early 1900s. It is a french paste piece that has all of the original paste stones. It is closed back of course and some grade of silver as it is tarnished. It has only one stamp on it that may not even be a makers mark, it looks like an upside down D, you can see it in picture number two in the upper left hand corner. The brooch measures 2 x 1 7/8 inches and it can also be worn on a neck piece as it has a loop on the back. I imagine it on a velvet ribbon. The condition is wonderful and if you love paste, this piece is for you.
