This beautiful bangle bracelet is antique circa 1890s/1900s. It looks exactly like gold but is tested as gold plated. The amethysts on the top are genuine, are bezel set, light in color and are "rough cut". The bangle is bright gold inside and textured and a darker gold outside. There are cursive initials engraved inside, A.L.M. and on one side W&D stamped, possibly for Whiting and Davis? This piece measures 3/8 of an inch wide, 2 3/4 X 2 3/8 at the opening, it’s obviously made for a larger hand and wrist. The condition is very good with no problems.
