This beautiful estate ring is fashioned from 18k white gold, a .50 ct blue sapphire and .60 carat total weight of diamonds and is circa 1950s. It is marked "Jabel 18K" inside the shank. Jabel was a manufacturer of very high quality wholesale jewelry to the high end jewelry trade. The sapphire is a round mixed cut, SI2 clarity, and is medium dark in color (darker than it appears in the above picture). There is one old mine cut diamond and 18 round full cut diamonds for a total weight of .60 ct. The diamonds average VS-SI1 clarity and H color. The ring is a size 6, weighs 6.6 grams, and the top of the ring measures about 17 X 17 mm . The retail replacement value is $1550.00 and the independant appraisal is included when purchased.
