This fab purse is vintage circa 1940's. It is a box style and the base feels like it may be a light weight wood as it's very firm with no give. The outside is deep red snake skin and the interior is black fabric. The inside top is all mirrored and there is a little side pocket inside and a change purse. There are no lables or makers marks. It measures 8 X 4 3/4 X 4 1/4 and is sort of octagonal shaped. The condition is very good. It does have a few age spots on the mirror that do not interfere with it's usability.
