| This pretty vintage hat pin is circa late 1800's, early 1900's. The head of the hat pin is molded, faceted, black glass and measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The pin measures 7 3/4 inches in length. The glass head has some tiny nicks in it, a small chip/crack on one side and some crazing in the glass when you look at the underside. It also has a spot on the top where it looks as if the color didn't take so its lighter black than the rest. I mention all of this for the collectors looking in. It still looks beautiful and is still functional. The head and pin look original to me. |
