This handsome bag is vintage from 1977. It appears to be a unisex bag to me and would do nicely for anyone. It is fashioned from thick black saddle leather and is stamped in gold under the flap, Gary's Of California, 1977 Gary's, California Saddle Hide. The bag is unlined, so you have a suede interior. The bag measures 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 x 2 inches and the wrist strap is 12 inches long. The key is present and the bag can be locked. There are two pen and one sunglass comparment on the back side of the purse. There are two sections inside, one center zippered compartment and a slit pocket. The outside is clean and in very good condition, the inside has some pen marks and could use a good cleaning. There are no bad smells or oily type dirt, just surface stuff. This bag feels like it will wear for another 200 years, it is made from very durable leather.
