| This beautiful brooch and earring set are made from 950 silver and cabochon grade amethyst. They are in very good condition. The earrings are screw back and dangle style. The earrings are about 1 inch in length and the brooch is about 2 X 2 inches. The set was made by Isidro Carcia Pina in Taxco, Mexico. It is pre-1955 per the type of signature. Signed "Maricela" and "950" indicating a higher grade of silver than sterling. See page 160 of the book, Mexican Silver, by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A.
