This really nice cigarette case is vintage circa 1930's/40's. It is fashioned from sterling silver, is produced by "Elgin American", and comes in it's original little felt lined bag. It measures 5 1/4 X 3 inches. The outside has a brushed finish front and back with chasing and unbrushed strips on the front for a pretty design. It also has the initials "W E W" on the front. The inside is beautiful with it's Art Deco design that makes you dizzy to look at it! The bar which holds in the cigarettes reads "Sterling ", "Elgin American", "Made in USA". The condition is very good with only very slight surface scratches front and back.
