This ring is vintage circa 1950s. It is fashioned from genuine tortoise shell. It is a size 6 1/2 and is a wrap style so will expand a small amount to about a size 7. The ring measures 1 1/4 X 3/4 inches at the top. The colors are dark brown with a few translucent areas that look yellow. I could not get a good clear picture of this ring, sorry. The style of this ring is a wrap around and one piece slips through a slit in the top of the other piece of the ring. No chips, cracks, etc. and it is in very good condition. For those of you who are not familiar with genuine tortoise shell items, they are extremely light weight.
