This unusual brooch is circa 1930s/40s and is made of a gold plated metal. It is a chatelaine style brooch in that the star pins seperately from the crescent moon and star piece and has the hangling chains connecting them. From the beggining of the moon to the end of the star this brooch measures 8 inches. It is made of a light weight metal and some of the plating has rubbed off of the crescent moon piece, otherwise it is in very good condition.
