This neat bangle is some kind of plastic, not bakelite. I don't know when it was made but my feeling is that its contemporary. It is carved and not molded so its a bit of a mystery to me. It measures 1 1/8th inch wide, 10mm thick and 2 1/2 inches across the hand opening. The condition is very good and it has no problems. Its heavy so it could be lucite or a good bakelite immitation (except for the color).
